Briefly describe the main ideas of the
"new world view" in The Theses on Feuerbach.
Ma wrote The Theses on Feuerbach in 1945.Well call it
"contains the first file of the burgeoning new world view of a
genius", "outline" contains the main idea of the new world view
are:
First,
the distinction between new materialism, old materialism and idealism is made
clear. The old materialist did not understand practice and left practice
activities to know the world in a negative way, which negated the role of
practice in knowledge and the initiative of human knowledge. Thus agency is
exaggerated by idealism as a mystical thing.
Secondly,
the scientific practice view is introduced into epistemology, which solves the
problem of the basis of cognition and the criterion of testing truth. People
must grasp things through practice and prove the truth of their thinking in
practice.
Third,
it correctly answers the questions about the nature of society and human
nature. The essence of social life is practice; Human essence is the sum total
of all social relations.
Fourth,
the fundamental task of the new world outlook is the practical activity of
transforming the world. "Philosophers used to explain the world; the point
was to change it."
Briefly describe the main idea of historical materialism in The
German Ideology.
The
German Ideology, written between 1845 and 1846, is a treatise on historical
materialism and a review of Feuerbach's idealist view of history. The main
ideas are:
(1) It
is not consciousness that determines life, but life that determines
consciousness.
(2) The
premise of history is the actual individual and its material life process.
Material production activity is the birthplace and foundation of social
history.
(3) The
contradictory movements of productive forces and relations of production,
economic base and superstructure. Productive forces and production relations
interact and form contradictory movement, which reflects the basic law of
historical development. Mann also elaborated the law of dialectical development
of economic foundation and superstructure.
(4) The
social form is a process of continuous development from low level to high
level. For the first time, human society was divided into five successive
forms.
