What are the functions of
the way of thinking?
The mode of thinking refers to
people's rational cognition mode, which is a relatively stable mode of thinking
operation that combines all elements of thinking according to certain
structure, method and program. Any mode of thinking is the internalization of
the format and program of social practice in human brain, and is the concept
system of human cognition and evaluation. The way of thinking is based on
practice and influenced by national tradition, social culture and other
factors.
Thinking mode has
cognition function and practice function.
The cognition function of thinking
mode includes operation function, selection function, explanation function and
standard function.
(1) Operation function. Refers to the function of processing and making thought operation
to form ideas.
(2) Selection function. Refers to the filtering and screening of factors in the process of
cognition.
(3) Interpretation function. Describe
the nature, meaning, or value of information about an object or object.
(4) normative
functions. The specific ways of dealing with problems and habits of thinking
formed historically are the rules and standards of thinking operation.
The practical function of thinking
mode refers to the role that thinking mode plays in practical activities, including
evaluation function, decision function and regulation function. It is embodied
in the following aspects: the subject evaluates the value attribute of the
object by the way of thinking; The subject conceives
and plans the practice goal and practice process in advance from a certain way
of thinking; The subject adjusts all kinds of information in the process of
practice through the way of thinking.
Why is social life in
essence practice?
According to the materialist view of
history, social life is practical in nature. This is mainly manifested in:
First, practice is the birthplace of
social history, the basis for the formation of social relations, and the basic
content of social life.
Secondly, the social development
promoted by practical activities is the unity of purposiveness and regularity. On
the one hand, social history consists of the activities of people pursuing
their own ends. On the other hand, people's practice must follow the objective
law of social and historical development, and must correctly understand and use
the objective law. Social development is a legal process. Purposiveness and
regularity are two aspects of the same historical process.
Third, practice determines that the
law of social history is different from the law of nature. The main characteristic
of the law of social history is that the law of social history is the law of
human social practice. First of all, the law of social history is formed in
people's practical activities. Secondly, the realization of the law of social
history is the process of people's cognition and practice.
