Three xuan
Metaphysics referred to the three works of Laozi,
Zhuangzi and Zhouyi in the
pre-Qin period as the "Three Metaphysics", which focused on the
so-called "nihility and mysticism". The "Three Mystery"
roughly represents the highest achievement of Taoism and Confucianism in the
pre-Qin period.
Three method seal
The three criteria that Buddhism says are used to verify true Buddhist
doctrine are "impermanence", "Dharma without self" and
"silence of nirvana". Impermanence: Nothing in the world is permanent.
Dharma Ego: There is no independent, unchanging entity or master of all
existence. Nirvana silence: corresponding to the annihilation of the four noble
truths, refers to the transcendental cycle of life and death into the highest
state of being (nirvana).
One mind and one mind
The basic views of the Tiantai Sect of Buddhism. The so-called three noble truths are
the empty noble truths, the false noble truths and the middle noble truths. Among them empty truth and false truth, also known as true truth
and vulgar truth. The original two truths hold that affirming everything
in the real world is the real existence, which is viewed from the secular
perspective, so it is called the vulgar truths. In essence, everything is empty
and unreal because it has no self-nature. This is the true meaning of Buddhism.
Later, the school of mediocrity in Buddhism felt that the meaning of the two
truths was incomplete, so it added a new third truth, the middle truth, which
runs through the empty false truths. The progenitor of the tiantai school, hui wen, explained that emptiness and being are integrated
with each other rather than absolutely opposed to each other. Therefore, when
one observes the three noble truths in one mind at the same time, this is
called the "three views of one mind".
Ten thousand law only knowledge
The basic views of the Consciousness
Only School of Buddhism. All the phenomena in the world are just the realization of
"knowledge", that is, the so-called "all laws only
knowledge". "Knowledge" is the mind, which is the eternal and
unchanging truth.
