The primitive

Originality is the first philosophical concept in Greek philosophy and even Western philosophy. "Original" means that "all existing things exist from it, come into being from it at first, and return to it after destruction. Although the nature of all things is changeable, the entity is always the same". According to the early Greek philosophers, there must be something invariable in the dry and changeable nature. Otherwise, it does not indicate the eternal existence of nature. This invariable thing is the original.

Everything flows, nothing lives

Ancient Greek philosopher Heraclitus realize that everything changes in movement, he symbolizes the origin of all things "fire" and to reflect all the rheological, burning thinks "this from the universe of all things, neither any god, nor anyone else has created, it was, is and will be a mass of the eternal alive fire, Burn according to a certain measure, extinguish according to a certain measure ".Heraclitus pointed out that "a man cannot step into the same river twice" because it is a new stream each time. On the one hand, he maintains that everything flows and nothing lives forever. With "eternal live fire" as a symbol, he shows that all things in nature are always in motion and change, and the really unchanged thing is "change" itself. On the other hand, it is also recognized that change also has a certain norm, according to which all things in nature change, and this normative principle is logos.

A wise man

The original meaning of "wise man" generally refers to people with wisdom, knowledge and talent, but in the 5th century BC, it specifically refers to a group of teachers who pay fees and focus on teaching rhetoric and argury and take it as their profession. The wise men are represented by Protagora and Gorgia. The appearance of wise men is the product of Athenian democracy. Wise men make the object of philosophy study shift from nature to social phenomenon, break the traditional idea in a negative way, and thus have the role of ideological liberation to a certain extent. So the wise are also known as the first humanists or enlighteners. However, the wise man had a bad reputation, and it was not until Hegel that he began to evaluate the position and function of the wise man objectively.
