The antinomy

The categories of understanding are valid only in the sphere of experience. When reason demands to know the totality of the world and thus forces the categories into transcendental use, there is no empirical basis for the formation of two opposing theories of the totality of the world, each of which is self-justifiable. Kant called this dialectics of reason "antinomies. "The antinomies reveal the limitations of metaphysics and play an important role in the formation of Hegel's dialectics.

Judgment

Judgment is the medium used by Kant to communicate theoretical reason and practical reason. There are two kinds of judgment, prescriptive judgment and reflective judgment. When the universal law is given, the judgment which subjugates the particular under it is "prescribed"; and when the particular is given, the judgment must find for itself, in the absence of a notion, a law by which to judge, and it is "reflective."

The categorical command

According to Kant, the natural law is reflected in the narrative form with "is" as the subject, while the rational law is the imperative form linked by "ought", so it is shown to man as the moral law that commands him "what should be done". We have two types of imperatives, the hypothetical command and the categorical command. The so-called "hypothetical command" is a conditional imperative, which begins with "if..., just..."For the form. The so-called "categorical imperative" is an unconditional imperative, or in this imperative, the end and means are unified. The categorical imperative is the form of the moral law, and its basic form is "that by your actions you shall raise your principles to universal law through your will".
