Scientific foresight

One of the two main functions of scientific theory.

Foreseeing is the logical deduction of a theory from an unknown fact.

The reliability and correctness of scientific foresight, to the extent possible, is the result of the theory revealing the nature of the object.

Scientific observation

Scientific observation is a purposeful and active observation under the guidance of certain ideas or theories. Scientific observation method is one of the important means to obtain perceptual materials about research objects.

Scientific experiments

Scientific experiment is a method that people control or simulate natural phenomena artificially by using scientific instruments and equipment according to certain research purposes, so that the natural process or production process is presented in a pure and typical form, so as to observe and study under favorable conditions.

Model test

Model experiment is to design models similar to objects or natural phenomena, simulate prototypes with them, and indirectly study the properties and characteristics of prototypes through experiments on models.

Observability

The word "observable" refers to the characteristics of any phenomenon that can be directly observed in People's Daily experience, and the laws of experience are the laws of observable phenomena.

Scientific discoveries

Reduction analysis method

The essence of logical positivism, one of the cores of modern empiricism.

In order to carry out the principle of empirical proof, we must find a way to restore from theory to experience, so we use mathematical logic to reduce scientific propositions and programs to initial propositions and terms, that is, empirical basis, so as to find the means of empirical proof for all scientific propositions.

Divergent thinking

Divergent thinking refers to the thinking of highly active and open-minded in scientific thinking.
